Two people, including the driver, were killed when an electric wire burst in a moving van in Mymensingh.

The incident took place at 8am on Saturday (May 21) in the Chinamor area of ​​the metropolis.

The deceased has been identified as Mintu Mia, 35, son of Char Ishwardia Harun Mia. The identity of the other is not yet known.

Kotwali Model Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shah Kamal Akand told CNI News that the van driver was passing through Chinamor area with a passenger. At that moment, the electric wire broke and the van overturned and Mintu Mia got entangled in the wire. At that time, the passenger also went to save him and died on the spot. Upon receiving the news, the fire service man came and rescued the body from the spot.
