Former captain and former chief selector Farooq Ahmed has been elected as the new president of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
Rumors in the sports arena for the past few days, Nazmul Hasan Papon is stepping down from the post of BCB president. And Papon can be replaced by former Tiger captain Farooq Ahmed. With Papon’s official resignation today on Wednesday, those rumors have come true.
After the interim government assumed responsibility in the country, there is a massive reshuffle in various ministries, departments and directorates. This time there was a change in the top positions of BCB, the country’s highest cricket control body.
