On the night of October 24, they were arrested in a raid at Dendabar in Ashulia. The arrested are the ringleader Aminul Islam (45) of Sirajganj, his assistant Shamim Hossain (45) of Faridpur and Kahirul Islam Khairul (45) of Dhaka.
Commander of RAB-4 Lt. Commander Rakib Mahmud Khan said that for a long time, the fraudulent DB police gang has been holding common people hostage in different places of Dhaka including Savar, Ashulia, Dhamrai, Narsingdi, Rajbari and using the identity of DB police and using fear and extortion. was robbing. On September 24, the gang trapped an electrician inside his house in Dendabar area of Ashulia and beat him up. After that, they demanded 50 thousand rupees by threatening to kill. The incident created a sensation in the area.

Rakib Mahmud Khan also said that the arrested persons are involved in various crimes including robbery, banditry, dacoity, extortion in the area. There are several cases against them in different police stations. 5 mobile phones and cash were recovered from them.
