Eid reunion and cultural program was organized at Ikra Party Hall on 13th May on the initiative of Manikganj Welfare Society USA Inc. Bangladesh Health and Family Welfare Minister Alhaj Zahid Malek Swapan was present as the chief guest.
The ceremony was attended by a special guest, the Consul General of New York. Mohammad Monirul Islam, Democratic District Leader at New York Queens, Attorney Moin Chowdhury, MD of Internal Medicine, Bernani Hasan, Community Activist and Real Estate Entrepreneur, ABM Osman Gani, New York-based Real Estate Entrepreneur, Msuder, E. Alam, Md. Hafizur Rahman Pintu, CEO of Desi Gebal Tax Service, Advocate Lutfar Rahman Himel, Former General Secretary of Bangladesh Law Society of USA, Anisur Rahman and Nurul Amin Mukul, USA Bureau Head of CNI News.
Md. Aokat Hossain Khan presided over the function.

During the Eid reunion, the Minister addressed the gathering and enjoyed a pleasant cultural program.
It may be mentioned that Bangladesh Health and Family Welfare Minister Alhaj Zahid Malek Swapan is on a visit to USA and he is a Member of Parliament from Manikganj-3 constituency.
