If BNP comes to power, Khaleda Zia will be the Prime Minister, said Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain. He made the remarks in response to a question from Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader. In a discussion at the Abdus Salam Hall of the National Press Club on Monday afternoon, a senior member of the BNP’s standing committee clearly explained Obaidul Quader’s question.

He said, “Everybody in Bangladesh knows very well that BNP will come to power in the future inshallah.”
In fact, our three-time Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is in power, she will be the Prime Minister of the country. Obaidul Quader doesn’t see who our Prime Minister is. We have clearly announced today who is our Prime Minister? Our Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. ‘
Khandaker Musharraf said that in an interview with Deutsche Welle in Germany, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh (Sheikh Hasina) had said that he did not want to be the Prime Minister anymore. “I do not want to be prime minister anymore,” he explained. ‘

“I want to tell Obaidul Quader, Sheikh Hasina has said, and he does not want to be the prime minister,” she said. If Obaidul Quader or Awami League can’t come this time and come to power after 10 years – who will be your Prime Minister? Said. You have used all kinds of evil deeds, and do not use any evil deeds in this country.

The senior member of the BNP’s standing committee reiterated the party’s position on the upcoming elections, saying, “We have said we will not go to any polls under Sheikh Hasina. We are not just now, people all over Bangladesh are saying no, different political parties are saying no, it is clear. What are we going to do? Of course not. We are saying we will remove this government. If they do not understand, I will remove them. Highways are the only option for removal – that’s what we’ve announced. Our acting chairman said, the decision will be made on the highway. Awami League you do not understand – what do we want? I will remove this government. We will remove them and force the parliament to be dissolved and then establish a non-partisan government and hold a fair and neutral participatory election in this country – this is what we want. There is no hiding place anywhere. ‘

Addressing the government, Khandaker Musharraf said, “You are looking at Sri Lanka.” May your good intellect still arise. Voluntarily resigned and dissolved Parliament. Cleared the way for a non-partisan neutral government. He also warned that if the change of government is a ‘decision on the road’, the government will have to take the responsibility if any situation like Sri Lanka arises in the country.

The discussion was held at the National Press Club on the importance of neutral elections in resolving the ongoing crisis organized by the Democracy Forum. BNP chairperson’s advisory council member Zainul Abdin Farooq, central leader Abu Naser Muhammad Rahmatullah, Bilkis Islam and Krishak Dal president Hasan Jafir Tuhin spoke at the discussion meeting chaired by VP Ibrahim.
