Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has arrived at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban for the purpose of proposing the national budget for the fiscal year 2022-2023. He will announce the budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 in Parliament on Thursday (June 9) at 3 pm.

He left his Gulshan residence at 11:15 am on Thursday for the purpose of proposing the national budget. He then reached the parliament building at around 12 noon.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will present the national budget today for the fourth time in a row. This time he will present a budget proposal of Tk 6 lakh 8 thousand 84 crore. This is the 23rd budget of the present government and the 51st budget of Bangladesh and the fourth budget of the current finance minister. In the budget for the next 2021-22 fiscal year, various steps are being taken to tackle the economy after the corona virus.
