Police have arrested six people, including drug addicts, in an anti-drug crackdown in Savar. Savar Model Police arrested them after conducting raids in different villages of Savar Upazila on the basis of secret information. Cannabis, Cholaimad and Yaba were recovered from the arrested drug dealers. As a result of the crackdown, drug traffickers have covered their bodies in many places, but police say drug traffickers are not exempt and must be caught by the police. Officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station OC Kazi Mainul Islam said that Sohel, Akhter Hossain, Alamgir, Kalam, Sohail Rana and Jahangir Alam were arrested in a night raid in different villages of Savar to create a drug free society. Yaba, Cholaimad and cannabis were recovered from them. He also said that the operation will continue. On the other hand, Ashulia police have arrested three drug dealers in Kurgaon area of ​​Ashulia. Dhaka District North Detective Police (DB) also arrested a woman drug dealer in a raid in Ashulia’s South Bypil area. Later, the police filed a case against the arrested drug dealers under the anti-drug law and sent it to the court.
