Four members of Ruhul Amin group and two members of AH Quader were injured in a clash over land at Balapara village of Mahish buffalo in Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat. The injured are Ruhul Amin Rubel, his mother Rubia Begum, his brother Roknuzzaman Pabel and his father, Mozahar Ali. The injured have been admitted to Aditmari Upazila Health Complex. The incident took place on May 16 at around 8:30 am. According to the complaint, the defendant AH Kadergang started the construction work by closing the road leading to the plaintiff’s house at 8:30 am on the same day due to East Shakruta. If the plaintiff is tied to it, an argument is formed. In the meanwhile, the defendants started beating each other with sticks, batis, etc. at random. At that time, when the plaintiff Ruhul Amin Rubel was injured, his brother Pavel came forward and beat him and broke his head. The plaintiff’s father Mohar Ali and mother Rubia Begum came forward and beat them up and injured them. Plaintiff Rubel said that the defendants have been trying to occupy our land from the east. Sadin closes the road for us and builds pucca houses.
Aditmari police sub-inspector SI Mizan said the two sides were stopped at the spot. The injured are admitted to Aditmari Upazila Health Complex. Aditmari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md.
