RAB-4 members have arrested a rapist who escaped from Ashulia in Savar in disguise and was sentenced to life imprisonment with an arrest warrant.
It is learned that on November 11 last year, a young man named Tutul of Shibalaya in Manikganj abducted and raped a woman. Later, the victim filed a case with Shibalaya police station. In that case, the court sentenced Tutul to life in prison. The court issued an arrest warrant for the accused Tutul as he was a fugitive.
RAB-4 Manikganj Commander Lt. Arif Hossain further said that Tutul was a fugitive from Ashulia in disguise. When the victim's family sought the help of RAB, Tutul's whereabouts were confirmed and he was arrested and handed over to Shibalaya police station. #
